My name is دىلشات مۇختار in Uyghur (Dilxat Muhtar in Latin, Dilixiati Muhataer in Chinese). I am Uyghur and was born in the beautiful city of Aksu, Xinjiang.

I am currently at the final year of my M.S. journey under the guidance of Dr. Xueliang Zhang and Prof. Pengfeng Xiao. I am currently also a research intern at Microsoft, where I cooperate with Dr. Yaming Yang, Dr. Yelong Shen and Dr. Xiaodong Liu. Before that, I received my B.S degree from Nanjing University.

My research focuses on advancing artificial intelligence, with a particular emphasis on developing systems that learn and understand the world in ways analogous to human cognition. I concentrate on three interconnected areas: efficient representation learning from raw signals, development of optimized architectures and learning algorithms, and intelligent reasoning and cooperation. Through this work, I aim to push the boundaries of scientific discovery and contribute to the evolution of AI systems.

Some Fun Facts

• I love travelling and literary, to experience both the beauty and wonders of nature, as well as the wisdom of humanity. My favourite city is Prague and my favourite book is 《Jerusalem: The Biography》.
• I also love music and boxing, both of which provide me with a sense of relief and help me unwind.
• My favorite food is pumpkin 🎃.
